Celebrating Volunteers Week
This Volunteers’ Week we’re celebrating every one of our amazing volunteers. Your dedication, kindness and time are what make Priorswood Community Centre the place it is today. We have 24 regular volunteers and 19 occasional volunteers. You are all amazing-Thank you!!
You’re here making teas and coffees, tending our community garden, offering support and a listening ear, helping at all our events, delivering the North Taunton Newsletter, running or supporting our regular groups, and sorting through our many, many books, clothes and bric a brac donations.
We couldn’t do any of it without you.
Priorswood Community Gardens
Many of you have been asking who keeps the Priorswood Community Garden looking so beautiful.
We’re delighted to introduce the wonderful volunteer team behind it all
Pip, Judi and Ben.
They give their time, care and energy to planting, tidying and nurturing the space so the whole community can enjoy it.
If you spot them in the garden, feel free to give them a wave or a thank‑you they truly make a difference.
Congratulations Malcolm
Congratulations to our volunteer Malcolm on winning 1st Prize!
Malcolm a dedicated volunteer at Priorswood Community Centre, has won first place in a writing competition organised by U3A writers group for his 3000 word story titled "Are you hungry,mate?"
He has received a prize of £50 for his achievement.
