Here at the Community Centre we rely on donations and fundraising to keep the Centre open and to allow us to provide the groups and services that we have available. There are several different ways that you can support the Centre, either in person or anonymously.  Click on the links below for more information about the different ways to donate.

Please be aware that, if you are approached to give money by someone with a collection tin, we do not use collection tins to fund raise outside of the Community Centre or in the street.  We have collection tins inside the Community Centre at the reception desk and collection buckets are used at our events.

Every weekday morning the Community Centre is open from 9.30am to 12.30pm. During opening hours we sell tea, coffee or hot chocolate for 70p a cup. Just pop in, sit and relax and have a chat to your friends.

We hold many events throughout the year and, whilst most of these are free to attend, we quite often hold raffles or have cake and book stalls to raise money. We also sell tea, coffee or hot chocolate for 70p at all events.

We always have a supply of books, CDs, DVDs and assorted Bric-a-Brac for sale outside of the Community Centre. This gives you 2 ways to help us, either by buying items from us or donating items for us to sell.

For most items we ask for a donation of your choice.  We charge 20p for books and for larger or newer items a price will be displayed on the item.  We have a lovely range of hand knitted items, all of which are knitted and donated by North Taunton residents.  Please ask at reception for the prices of knitted items.

We always gladly accept cash donations, however big or small. We have a donation box on the reception desk for your loose change. If you wish to donate a larger amount, we accept cheques made payable to “North Taunton Partnership”.

The Priorswood Community Centre was set up in 1998 to help young families.

We identified a need for help for all residents and have since moved forward to offer help, support, guidance and advice to ALL residents, who need it, in the North Taunton area.

All the money we raise from our bric-a-brac, book sales and the events we run, is put back into keeping the Community Centre open.
